A Message from the Artist, Elias VanDette:

Queery makes queer theory accessible and fun, and we are launching another powerful project for you! And the proceeds go to help the queer community!

As queer folx, we often grow up and navigate in a world that doesn’t affirm us, a world that may even seek to erase us. We often come from families of origin who do not fully see us, and in a world that doesn't fully see us. This can be at best, an emotional wound that can hinder us and at worst - can manifest as deep seated trauma and internalized queer-phobia.

In the face of homophobia and transphobia, we believe a remedy is Queerphoria. Queerphoria is a state of queer euphoria, authenticity, and radical self-love. Finding ways to love the parts of ourselves that we have been trained to hate is a radical act of self-acceptance. We may not be able to do much about changing society as a whole, but we can work to heal ourselves from the homophobia and transphobia we have internalized. Queer joy is a form of resistance.

This deck features 31 unique affirmations centered on mental health and the queer experience. Draw a random card for your daily dose of queer euphoria! These cards and affirmations were lovingly designed by myself with the help of Queery.

50% of the proceeds go to Queery to support us in our LGBT+ outreach, and the other 50% goes to the TGNCNB community and their causes.

Queerphoria Affirmation Cards:

They are easy to get here, for yourself, your loved one, or for your agency.

Suggestions for use:

1. Draw a random card for a daily dose of queer euphoria.

2. If the card you draw doesn't resonate with you, draw another.

3. Felling blue? Draw a few!

4. Carry a card you like with you as a gentle reminder to yourself.

5. There are many ways you can use them, and we would love to hear how you plan to or have already used them.  Please let us know by emailing info@queery.us.
