This workshop to review trauma-informed care in regards to serving the LGBTQ+ communities and get tips and resources on how to enhance what you are already doing at your agency to provide the best care possible for LGBTQ+ people.

LGBTQ+ PRIMARY VIOLENCE PREVENTION IN ACTION Sept 22, 3:00-4:15 CST

Reviewing projects and programs that are concrete, creative and change making and leave the workshop inspired to incorporate these ideas into your own domestic violence and sexual assault  prevention programs.

Mount Vernon Youth Bureau (MVYB) CAPP (Comprehensive Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention) Program has invited Queery to do two unique workshops. One on Tuesday, August 3rd from 2-4 and the other on Thursday, August 5th from 2-4 as well. We will be discussing topics such as the use of pronouns, our Sticks & Stone artwork, and Self-care.

Statewide Conference
Tuesday, May 25, 2021 @ 1:00 PM CST 
Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ICASA) is holding their statewide conference at the end of May and will be offering a Queery-led workshop featuring creative, interactive and technological tools for primary violence prevention programs to engage and welcome LGBTQ+ communities.
Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs (WCSAP)  presents a series of keynote presentations in May. 
 
Queery will be one of these offerings where participants will have a chance to enhance their school-based and organizational primary violence prevention projects through art-based education programs that are designed by and for the LGBTQ+ BIPOC communities.

On Monday, June 24th, Queery will be presenting their discursive art-based violence prevention education program at the Urban Health Plan on 960 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY.  

The program will run from 4:30 - 6:30 PM, and the exhibit will stay up for the entire week leading up to World Pride/NYC Pride and remain at the site until July 18th.

The Rockland Pride Center hosted its annual Pride Sunday on June 23rd from 12:00 to 5:00 PM in Haverstraw, NY across from Village Hall at Maple and West Broad Streets.

Queery tabled at this event, sharing information about "Sticks and Stones: Reclaiming Names that Were Used to Hurt Us." Participants were able to get their own queer gear there or online here.
